We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our team in Burlington, Massachusetts. In this Contract-to-permanent role, you will play a vital part in supporting our accounting operations, focusing on data entry, administrative tasks, and assisting with additional accounting duties as needed. Responsibilities:
• Process and record customer invoices with accuracy and efficiency.
• Enter vendor invoices and ensure proper documentation.
• Perform high-volume data entry tasks to support accounting operations.
• Maintain organized records of financial transactions and invoices.
• Assist in preparing and reconciling accounting entries.
• Handle light administrative duties to support the accounting team.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of accounting tasks.
• Provide support for additional accounting functions as required.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures during data handling.
• Address discrepancies and resolve invoicing issues promptly.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting or data entry role.

• Proficiency in processing customer and vendor invoices.

• Strong skills in high-volume data entry with attention to detail.

• Familiarity with basic accounting principles and practices.

• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
