We are seeking a detail-oriented and personable Accounts Payable Clerk to manage vendor invoices while also serving as the first point of contact at our front desk. This role requires strong multitasking skills, balancing high-volume invoice processing with professional and welcoming front-desk duties.

Job Details

Key Responsibilities:

Process approximately 500 invoices per month with accuracy and efficiency

Match, code, and enter vendor invoices into the accounting system

Prepare invoices for payment and assist with weekly check runs and ACH/wire payments

Maintain organized AP files, reconcile statements, and resolve vendor discrepancies

Serve as the first point of contact for guests, greeting visitors in a friendly and professional manner

Answer and direct incoming calls, taking messages or routing appropriately

Manage front desk responsibilities, including handling mail, packages, and office supplies

Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely approvals of invoices

Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable

Support additional administrative and finance-related tasks as needed

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of accounts payable experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to process high volumes of invoices accurately

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; friendly, professional presence at the front desk

Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and accounting systems

Experience with ERP systems preferred (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar)

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree in accounting or business preferred
