Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support our ITAR-related projects in East Peoria, IL. This is an excellent opportunity for entry-level professionals with strong communication and organizational skills who are eager to grow in the field of project management .

The Project Coordinator will assist in planning, tracking, and coordinating project activities to ensure timelines, deliverables, and compliance standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning, coordinating, and monitoring project activities.
• Support Project Managers in maintaining project documentation, schedules, and reports .
• Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders.
• Track project progress and escalate issues or delays when necessary.
• Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas and document minutes .
• Ensure ITAR compliance in all project-related activities.
• Perform general administrative and operational support to ensure smooth project execution.

Qualifications:

• Education: Associate or Bachelors degree required.
• Experience: Entry-level candidates encouraged to apply; prior project coordination experience a plus.
• Skills:
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in professional email correspondence.
• Excellent organization and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a structured, deadline-driven environment.
• Eligibility: Must be a U.S. Citizen (required for ITAR compliance).

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with project management tools or software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Smartsheet).
• Basic understanding of the project lifecycle and documentation processes.
• Strong problem-solving and time-management abilities.
• Prior exposure to a manufacturing or engineering environment preferred.
