Job Description
Körber Pharma Packaging Materials (Formerly Rondo-Pak LLC) ; A global leader of high-quality folding cartons and literature for the pharmaceutical industry is in search of an experienced Shipping Receiving Clerk who is interested in advancement and has goals to eventually move up in the shipping/receiving department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and full compliance with cGMP requirements.
- Act as the main contact for carriers, drivers, and internal departments including Production, Quality, and Planning.
- Verify and document receipt of materials and components in accordance with established procedures.
- Prepare, stage, and inspect outbound shipments, ensuring correct labeling, documentation, and packaging per regulatory and customer requirements.
- Accurately record transactions in ERP and warehouse management systems.
- Maintain warehouse organization, accuracy, and material traceability.
- Support material handling for production and returns, maintaining proper segregation of status-labeled materials (e.g., Quarantine, Released, Rejected).
- Assist with routine cycle counts and inventory reconciliations.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment safely.
- Serve as a bilingual resource (English/Spanish) to facilitate clear communication and training across shifts and departments.
- Promote and uphold site safety, quality, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations, preferably in a pharmaceutical, food, or regulated manufacturing environment.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required – must be able to read, write, and speak both languages effectively.
- Strong understanding of cGMP, GDP, and related documentation practices.
- Proficient in ERP/WMS systems and basic Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail.
- Forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain one.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
