Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A professional Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) is needed for a contract position within a K-12 school setting in Berlin, CT. This role supports licensed Speech-Language Pathologists by assisting in delivering speech and language therapy services to students with munication disorders.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting in implementing speech and language therapy plans under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
• Preparing materials and activities to support therapy goals
• Documenting student progress and maintaining confidential records
• Collaborating with educators, therapists, and families to support student munication development
• Participating in team meetings and contributing to individualized education programs (IEPs)

Qualifications:

• pletion of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program
• Valid SLPA certification or license as required by the state
• Experience working with children in a school environment preferred
• Strong munication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow treatment plans and maintain detailed records
