We’re seeking dependable, certified, and safety-conscious Water Treatment Plant Operators  to join our team. This role is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining systems that treat and distribute potable water in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor water treatment systems, pumps, valves, chemical feeders, and filtration equipment
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on plant machinery and instrumentation
• Collect and analyze water samples; record data and adjust treatment processes as needed
• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and compliance documentation
• Respond to alarms, equipment malfunctions, and emergency situations promptly
• Ensure compliance with EPA, DEP, and local water quality standards
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of treatment chemicals and supplies
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure safe and efficient plant operations

Qualifications:

• Valid Florida Class A, B, or C Water Operator license (required)
• High school diploma or GED; technical training or associate degree in water treatment or related field preferred
• 1+ years of experience in water treatment operations (preferred)
• Knowledge of SCADA systems, lab testing procedures, and regulatory compliance
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces or outdoor environments
• Must pass background check and drug screening

Working Conditions: This position involves indoor and outdoor work in varying weather conditions. Operators may be exposed to chemicals, noise, and mechanical equipment. PPE is provided and required.
