We are looking for an organized and proactive Administrative Assistant to join our team in Brooklyn, New York. In this long-term contract position, you will play a key role in ensuring efficient daily operations by providing administrative support and maintaining effective communication across teams. Responsibilities:
• Handle inbound and outbound calls with professionalism, addressing inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
• Provide exceptional customer service by responding to emails and ensuring clear communication.
• Perform accurate data entry tasks to maintain records and databases.
• Coordinate scheduling and manage appointments to ensure smooth operations.
• Draft, review, and edit documents using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel to organize and analyze data for reporting purposes.
• Maintain and update calendars using Microsoft Outlook to track meetings and deadlines.
• Support team members in administrative tasks and assist in project coordination.• Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably within a non-profit organization.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with handling inbound and outbound calls and providing customer service.
• Capable of performing accurate data entry and maintaining organized records.
• Demonstrated ability to schedule appointments and coordinate calendars.
• A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving and teamwork.
